he purpose of this questionnaire is to find the most suitable match between cat and adopter, ensuring that both can enjoy a happy and lasting relationship after adoption.

Please answer each question honestly, clearly and in as much detail as possible. Your answers will help us get to know you better and assess which cat would be the best fit for your home and lifestyle.

IMPORTANT!

The sterilisation/neutering of the animal and the safety of the home through the installation of protective netting, screens, grilles or other appropriate barriers on windows and balconies are essential and mandatory requirements for any adoption.

These safety measures must be correctly installed BEFORE the adoption takes place, without exception.

How long do cats typically live?

What care do cats require? Please provide as detailed a list as possible.

What would you do if difficult or unexpected situations arose after the adoption?For example: if you had to move house, if the cat shed hair, was more timid than expected, scratched or bit while playing, became ill and required veterinary treatment and the associated costs, or if any other unforeseen circumstances occurred.

What type of home do you live in? Apartment, ground-floor property, house with garden, etc.

Does your home have the necessary safety measures for a cat? Please indicate whether you have installed window screens, protective netting or grilles on windows; whether balconies are secured with netting; and, if you have a garden, whether it is enclosed with fencing and an anti-escape system (such as an inward-facing "L" extension at the top). Please send us photographs of windows, balconies, fences or outdoor areas so that we can properly assess the safety of the property.

Is your home owned or rented? If rented, please confirm that you have verified that both the landlord and the homeowners' association (if applicable) allow cats to be kept in the property. Please include any additional information regarding permissions or conditions if relevant.

Who will be living with the cat in your household? Please confirm that all members of the household agree with the adoption. If anyone has concerns or reservations, please explain them.

How many hours per day will the cat be left alone?

What arrangements will you make for the cat when you go on holiday?

Do you currently have any other animals? If yes, please specify which animals. If you have cats, please indicate how many, their sex (male or female), and whether they are neutered/spayed.

Have you owned cats before? If so, and you no longer have them, please explain how long you had them and why they are no longer with you (for example: passed away, rehomed, given up for adoption, sold, or another reason).
